Every component within an air
distribution system adds resistance to the air
handlers ability to move the specified amount of
air. The amount of total resistance specified
(static pressure) in a fan specification is
calculated for the required system airflow.
The resistance will therefor be determined by
the amount of air flow - if air flow is more than
specified the resistance will also be more,
and vise versa for less air flow.
